Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class represents a diverse community of learners who bring unique strengths and perspectives to everything we do. I want to make sure every student in my class has the tools they need to feel confident and successful in their learning.

This project will provide new headphones and printer ink to support both collaborative and independent learning to my Special Education, and ELL language learners.

Our school is a Title I school, and every student has access to a Chromebook to use digital learning platforms. However, without working headphones, it’s difficult for students to fully engage with lessons and complete activities independently. Many of our current headphones have broken after years of use, and we no longer have enough for the whole class. Having a reliable set for each student would allow them to focus, listen carefully, and take ownership of their learning.

We have a printer in the classroom that is in need of ink. Having ink for the printer will provide the students with a print rich environment
