This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students work so hard and write harder! They go through dozens of pencils a day and we can't keep them sharpened! We've gone through 3 electric sharpeners and a manual one! We are now using the tiny little plastic ones but they don't work so well and we are being held up by the amount of time it takes to sharpen them with these little ones, that sometimes just break the pencils altogether! We could really use some extra sharpeners to have in each room!
