My Students

My students are enthusiastic, inquisitive, and eager to show the world what they know. I teach in a small, rural school district. Children in our community depend on their school to provide them not only with a quality education but also a social outlet and experiences to help them discover who they are as a person.

My goal is that my students can see that they are an important part of our classroom community.

We are a team working towards a common goal. We encourage each other, celebrate achievements, and help each other when we are struggling. Thank you for helping me to help my students become the best human beings that they can be!

My Project

I am asking for a new bulletin board for my classroom wall. I plan on using the bulletin board to welcome my students to our classroom at the beginning of the school year, and display posters that reinforce what we are learning. I will also display student's work showing their skills in action!

I love seeing the pride a student has when their work is posted as the example for what we are learning.

It is a definite confidence builder and often gives them the drive to continue pushing themselves to do their best. I want my students to see that their hard work is acknowledged and that they can learn from each other.
