My classroom is bustling with activity at all times during the day. I have found that my students love being able to learn through art and to show what they know in an artistic way. I am requesting a wall mounted drying rack that will allow my students' projects to have a safe place to dry. Our classroom is very limited on space. Having a drying rack will allow me to integrate art into learning without having to worry about it taking away from our already limited room area. I am also requesting three Chromebooks that I plan to have students use for writing research projects as well as many other activities. Having these will allow me to let students choose a topic they are interested in as opposed to assigning them something. Students will be given a general topic to work from such as an informational report about an animal. They will choose the animal they want to research. My goal is to increase engagement and give more opportunities for student-driven learning.
