My Project

Our classroom is a student-centered classroom with a great deal of time devoted to center time. We use mixed-ability grouping. We would like to utilize our shelf space by providing different groups with bins for their levels. Materials can be changed when we teach new skills.

The goal is to create a warm and comfortable classroom.

We want our students to maximize their learning time with easy access to materials needed throughout the day. The students take responsibility for their own learning when working in centers.

Our students are enthusiastic learners who are eager to engage in hands-on-activities. Students benefit from managing their time, self regulation, and improved social abilities.
