Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have some amazing pre-k students that love to learn. Our "Cozy Corner" is an essential part of our classroom. The Cozy Corner is a place we introduce to students go to express their BIG FEELINGS.

Children spend time in this corner when they feel angry, sad, lonely or need a minute to reflect.

The objective is to make students feel as comfortable as possible. My goal is to make this center more attractive for my pre-k students. These items will be useful for students to sit and take a few minutes to relax and express their feelings. We have lots of Social and Emotional activities for them reflect on their feelings, we just need the area to make students feel warm, cozy, and comfortable.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
