My Project

We are a suburban Title 1 school in North Carolina. Our fifth grade students are currently sitting in desks and chairs that are at least 30 years old, broken, vandalized, and sometimes just too small for our bigger 5th graders. We are hoping to give our students the opportunity to learn about, collaborate on and showcase 21st century skills in more appropriate and comfortable, up to date furniture. This grant would be for two classrooms, about 48 students. Our grade level is housed in a trailer outside of the main building of the school.
