Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our special education elementary classroom strives to be a supportive and engaging learning environment for every student. We are seeking to create an organized, inviting space that directly benefits their unique learning styles and fosters independence.

The Humble Crew and Iris storage carts will be instrumental in organizing manipulatives, visual aids, and individual student supplies, reducing clutter and making materials easily accessible.

This organization directly benefits our students by minimizing distractions and promoting self-sufficiency as they can locate items independently. The Sweetcrispy mobile desk will provide a flexible workspace for small group instruction or individualized support, adapting to diverse learning needs.

To create an inviting atmosphere, we request various bulletin board supplies, including "Better Than Paper" rolls and push pin clips. These will allow us to display student work, visual schedules, and educational content in an appealing and durable manner. The Gamenote Dry Erase Pockets will be vital for reusable worksheets and visual schedules, promoting sustainability and reducing printing costs.

The EAMAY and Godery pocket charts, along with the WhatSign Telling Time and Chinco Daily Schedule sets, will be crucial for visual schedules, behavior tracking, and teaching essential life skills like time management. These visual supports are paramount for our students, providing structure and predictability. The Auchq Morning Meeting Greetings chart will foster social-emotional development. Finally, the over-the-door shoe organizer will efficiently store headphones, and the VASAGLE file cabinet will secure important documents, further contributing to a well-ordered and calming classroom. These resources will transform our classroom into an optimal learning environment where every student can thrive.
