Exploration and visuals are key to students and their learning especially for students in Special Education. My students come from many different ethnic and racial backgrounds and many of my students English Language Learners with learning disabilities like mild autism, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Other Health Impairments. Many of my students also qualify for the free and reduced lunch program at our school. My students often do not have the supplies at home they need to be successful in school and more often; a lot of external classroom resources is not available at all to them. They are extremely eager to learn and I hope to provide them will all the materials to support their learning.
