This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is difficult to believe we are already half way through the school year! My students have been working hard so far to learn, grow, and excel! The supplies requested through this project will help us to ensure we continue to do just that as the school year continues on!

This project is an exciting combination of classroom supplies staples (a pencil sharpener, pencils, dry erase markers) and learning games that I know will enrich and enhance student learning during centers and provide students with opportunities to practice newly learned skills with their peers.

The classroom supplies will support our learning on a daily basis. To do our learning each day, we need consumable supplies. In particular, the dry erase supplies requested through this project are an important staple in our math classes. Students are highly motivated and engaged when we use whiteboards during our math lessons. These supplies will restock our almost-gone supply of dry erase markers. The restock will keep us working on our whiteboards for the rest of the year!

The math and literacy games requested through this project will help to motivate and engage students within group work time. They will be a fun and interesting addition to our typical routines that will excite students and drive learning forward. They will provide opportunities to students to accelerate learning in a fun and enjoyable format while also providing enrichment to students as well. These games will bring more life and energy into our classroom as we practice with new content and even review prior skills.

These supplies as a whole will bolster our learning and carry us through (well-stocked and more motivated than ever) to the end of our school year!
