My Project

This project includes several kits of the Little Spots series of books by Diane Alber. My kindergarten students are a great age to be learning and developing their self esteem, and learn to handle their big emotions.

These books have changed my classroom tremendously.

We currently have three sets of the books in our classroom. With the books we have my students are discussing their feelings with vocabulary and knowledge that allows them to be understood by others. The new sets included in this project will help build our Little Spot book library. I would really love to include these sets in our library as my students are in need of a strong social/emotional learning tool.

The project also includes a birthday book and feeling plushie. I would love to be able to read this book on birthdays, and allow the student to hold the plushie on their special day!
