My Project

As a first-year Media Specialist, I am excited to create a library where every student feels welcomed, inspired, and excited to learn. My students are curious, creative, and full of potential. They deserve a space that encourages them to read, explore, imagine, and collaborate.

The flexible seating, beanbags, floor cushions, and reading hideaway will transform our media center into a comfortable place where students can enjoy books, work together, and build a lifelong love of reading.

Many students learn best when they have choices, and these seating options will help them feel relaxed and engaged.

The art supplies, games, sensory tools, and Teachers Pay Teachers resources will allow students to extend their learning through hands-on activities, makerspace projects, and interactive literacy lessons that inspire creativity and critical thinking. TIME for Kids magazines will introduce students to engaging nonfiction texts and help them make real-world connections.

The beloved book character plushies, including Pete the Cat, Clifford, Elephant & Piggie, Curious George, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and more, will make storytime even more memorable and encourage students to connect with the books they love.

My vision is to make our media center the heart of our school—a place where every child feels they belong. With your support, we can create a warm, inviting environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong passion for reading and learning. Every donation will help turn this vision into a reality for our students.
