Help me give my students receive iPads to become an arts technology classroom.

I teach at a very dynamic, well rounded, collaborative performing arts high school. Donations are the reasons we are able to uphold a standard of performance that reflects conservatory and college ready training. Our department is not only highly skilled, we're also teach eclectic students with multiple skills and talents. Students achieve college ready scores by respecting the teaching happening in our building, which means students carry very heavy and plenty of textbooks. Including reading multiple plays for their arts major, our students have talent that meets and exceeds performance standards. Every opportunity that students are able to incorporate research, visual inspirations, or readings from various types of media, they do it with pleasure and expertise.
The students love performing for their families and community members, yet students do not have a lot of opportunity to see theater or have it performed for them.
With different families creating our school community, students can't always afford to see a show in the theater district and experience mastery level acting. The performing arts department has organized materials and opportunities for all, which means we are always looking for strategies in incorporating technology into our daily plans and practice.
This is the beginning of creating a technology driven arts classroom. My students carry about 3-5 text books, on a daily basis, which doesn't include the multitude of plays that they are asked to read on a weekly basis. In reducing our carbon footprint, the strain of textbooks, and providing instant feedback for my students, these iPads will change the face of how students use scripts, learn vocabulary, work with imagery, and use current events to create dynamic theater pieces. These iPads are the start; once we receive 30 iPads, hopefully our school will reduce the paper usage, and go straight to using digital means to turn in work and use for all arts courses.
