A Journey Through Time and Civilizations

Help me give my students a classroom that will keep them motivated and help internalize important 7th grade social studies concepts. The adjustable standing desk will allow me to move fluidly throughout the classroom to actively monitor.

My Project

The best part about teaching my students is the privilege I have of journeying with them through history and exploring different civilizations. With some of the best critical thinkers, I get to facilitate connections between ancients civilization and the modern world.

This project will help me to set up my classroom as a second year teacher at Whitewater Middle School.

The anchor charts will help students achieve lesson objectives and internalize lesson so the we can move them into deeper understanding of 7th grade social studies content. Maintaining a clean environment is essential to every students' learning. The cleaning supplies on this list will allow our social studies community to remain healthy so that students can show up and engage.

My goal with this project is to facilitate each student reaching their highest potential for the school year. This starts by equipping them with a solid foundation that allows them to focus on being present throughout the journey.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
