Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As this school year ends, I'm already thinking about how to prepare for the next school year. The easel pads and markers will help me create math anchor charts throughout the school year with my students to create a rich learning environment. The writing tablets will be a new and fun way to work out math problems for my students during group and independent practice. The clipboards can also be used for "math scoots" that allow my students to collaborate with one another and have something sturdy to write on. The materials like clipboards, writing pads, and markers will make learning collaborative and meaningful.

STEM games are a great way to practice collaboration and problem solving skills.

Building blocks turn abstract concepts like geometry and area into a 3D visual language that makes sense to every type of learner. These skills are essential for my students to master and gain a deeper understanding of math that can be applied to the real-world.

Scented pencils, squishies, and stickers are great tools to keep them excited and engaged throughout our daily routine. The blank books are a great way for them to display their fun and smelly stickers. Students earn these awesome rewards for completing iReady lessons, Accelerated Reader test, and class participation.

Classroom mailboxes will make a great addition to my classroom as they will help the classroom run smoothly and be organized.
