My Project

"March to the beat of your own drum" is a motto I encourage my young music students to live by. Be creative and take risks, as a musician and as a person. In our general music class, we focus on reading and writing basic rhythms, using the dwindling collection of percussion instruments that have been used to keep the beat in our music class for over a decade now. It is my hope to provide each of my eager young percussionists with genuine drum equipment and practice pads.

My music students strive to do their very best in school every day, and should be afforded materials worthy of their efforts!

My creative young musicians deserve the chance to practice and perform on quality percussion instruments. Please help them express themselves on high quality equipment. You never know who will turn out to be the next Art Blakey, John Bonham, Sheila E., or Dave Grohl...
