My Project

Moving to a new school in a different city is always a challenge for teachers. Some challenges I have faced for my classroom include lack of supplies and facilities that are not up to date. The AC has been broken in my new room since the end of last school year. With this obstacle it is challenging for students to focus in a classroom that can reach the high 80's. That is why it is important for me to provide some sort of comfort for them with a fan for every corner. Also, extension chords for the students need a charge on their Chromebooks. A first aid kit for any accidents, a working computer chair for the teacher and a map to visualize the US geography.

With your support, we can create a classroom environment that is not only organized but also empowers my students to take charge of their learning.

Supplies like pencils, pens and copy paper are the foundational tools for learning. They allow students to write, draw, and solve problems, giving them a direct way to express their ideas and complete assignments. Binders, file folders and desk organizers will help my students thrive when they have a sense of order. These materials will help them keep track of their work, organize handouts, and maintain a tidy space. This reduces stress and helps them focus on what's most important: learning. Paper towel dispensers, soap, magnets, laminating sheets and hand sanitizer to keep the classroom clean and tidy. Scissors, color pencils and tape are for more than just crafts; they are tools for building, creating, and problem-solving. They allow students to actively engage in hands-on projects, from putting together presentations to creating a visual display of their work. These tools will enable students to be independent and confident.
