Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of tablets is a daily activity in our Kinder classroom. The tablets allow students to learn as they play using developmentally appropriate learning apps in Math and Reading. What becomes a problem is charging all 23 tablets at the end of the day and the frequent use throughout the day, cords get tangled making it hard for students to get to their devices quickly. When something goes wrong, students know that they must calmly wait till the teacher unravels the tablet chargers. Even though they are great about doing this, it takes away from time they would spend learning on their devices. By having a 12-bay Charging Station, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether they will have quick access to their tablets. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
