They were eager to explore the yoga mats, fan, and mindfulness tools, and many shared how the space made them feel calm and safe. It quickly became a favorite area in our classroom.\r\n\r\nNext, we are connecting the Mindful Break Zone to our social-emotional learning lessons by teaching students specific coping strategies they can use independently. We are also using reflection journals to help students write about their feelings and goals.
