My project for a hydroponics system will get kids excited about science and eating healthier. Kids this young get excited about watching plants grow and this project will give them a hands on experience. We are lacking in science materials and for that reason I am also requesting some safety goggles and clip boards for taking notes as the plants are growing. Students will have an opportunity to see vegetation grow without the need for soil. Growing plants in our class will increase student's creativity and curiosity while building critical thinking skills. My goal is for every one of my students to leave my classroom confident and excited about science.
