When my students first saw the new equipment, they were excited to try everything and immediately wanted to know what workout we would do first.\r\n\r\nThese resources have helped make our Running Club practices more engaging and purposeful. Our next step is to continue building endurance and strength while using the Pedometers to track progress and set new goals. These fun activities will help keep important skills fresh as they prepare for their next school year. It has been wonderful to see them take more pride and ownership in their work.\r\n\r\nOur new mobile workspace has also changed the way I am able to support students throughout the classroom. Instead of having students always come to me, I can bring my materials and instruction directly to them. I can easily move from a writing conference to a small reading group or provide one-on-one support right where a student is working.
