My Project
Our unique and outstanding Title One elementary school educates 362 bright and beautiful students, ages 5-11. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and possess varied academic and social/emotional needs.
The products we seek (sensory items and fidget toys) will provide our students with the opportunity to understand and regulate their emotions, to identify their feelings, and to safely develop the skills needed to be successful in and out of the classroom.
When children feel calm and understood, they are open to learning and growing. Calm lighting, comfortable seating, and fidgets will aid students in finding a calm mindset, while books that engage students in self-discovery will help them formulate a more positive and productive behavioral plan.
