This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have known my 8th graders since they were in the 6th grade. Unfortunately because of the pandemic, they did not have the opportunity to have a graduation ceremony, end of the year trip, or any other culminating activities at the end of their 5th grade year (which was 3/20-6/20). Creating a three-year video yearbook that showcases their talents and fun middle school memories will provide them with a necessary sense of closure and provided them with a great culminating activity that they can cherish forever.

My equipment is outdated or broken and providing the kids with new microphones will help create a wonderful video yearbook,full of memories that they will be able to see and especially hear, for many years to come!
