I work an independent charter school. Our school's motto is, "Teach to the heart and the mind will follow". We strive daily to reach every student so that all may become innovative, critical thinkers that collaborate effectively and contribute meaningfully in a technically advanced world.
It is through education that we as individuals are entitled the chance to move upward in society, maintain self and family, and obtain the skills needed to be productive citizens in the global community.
My class is focusing on personal success this year. My students love learning and I love being able to give them as many opportunities as possible to expand their knowledge and try new ways of discovering information.
My Project
Sonoma County Education puts on a 5 minute movie festival every year. This year our school would like to participate. The topic is voice. Our students will be interpreting this in their own creative way and then making a 5 minute movie.
These supplies will help the students to improve and expand how they incorporate their critical thinking skills and expand their creativity.
In order for us to be able to create these we need a little help. There are a few items that we cannot do without, iPad, microphones and a tripod. The rest is creativity and hard work!
