Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to create STEM bins students can enjoy. Students come into my classroom and settle in by working on a written response and one math question. After that, they look for something else they can do. I have a few puzzles and activities available for my students, but I want to give them access to more.

That's why I want to implement STEM bins, so students can look forward to something engaging and fun while also giving them hands on learning.

They provide an outlet for creativity and opportunities for problem solving in a hands on manner. The STEM bins will be used in a variety of ways. It will be available for students to use as an early finisher activity, to provide enrichment, as a brain break, and so much more.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
