Students and staff love having him on campus and he is very popular everywhere he goes! During his time on campus so far, he has attended assemblies, visited classrooms, gone to recess and given support to students and staff when they were having a rough day. \r\n\r\nWeston and I are also part of a district wide crisis team. Since he has become a therapy dog, we have also had the opportunity to visit other campuses to support their students and staff. We visited one campus after a beloved teacher passed away and we visited a different campus after the death of a student. Weston's calm demeanor and comforting presence assisted those who were grieving someone they cared about.\r\n\r\nAll of the supplies that we received have helped Weston to be as effective as he could possibly be. He has a calm space to be in when he needs a break and has treats to reward him for doing all the great work that he is doing.
