These tablets will help the students in first grade develop a love of learning through technology. They will learn how to research topics that interest them and participate in project based learning. Students will be able to actively engage in material and show what they learned through games which can give them direct feedback on their answers. We would like to integrate technology into the lessons to help students engage with the learning materials. At our school there are not enough tablets for the first grade classrooms. Students lose out on valuable learning experiences because we cannot provide them with relevant materials that would peak their learning interests. We also want to be able to teach them how to use technology and be a good digital citizen.
