Many students wonder every school day, "When am I ever going to use this information in my life?" but they never have to ask themselves that in business technology courses! Though my students are surrounded by technology - cell phones, tablets and game stations - and could setup my new DVD player in a snap, they don’t have the technology skills needed for higher education and future careers. Business Technology classes address that problem and prepare our children for higher education and careers.
My school is located on a US Air Force Base and most of our students are from military families, many of whom have parents deployed overseas.
In addition to dealing with parental deployment, military children endure the strain of restarting relationships with friends and teachers and keeping up with work in each new school. Our teachers are proud to serve the children of those who serve our country.
My business technology students are learning how to use technology both academically and professionally.
My students need the 3Doodler Start Bundle of pens and filament to enhance their understanding of how this new technology works and see the results of their planning, design and hard work!
They are learning how to use Computer Aided Design technology to plan, design and develop a product. However, they currently can’t see the end result of their work. Having 3Doodler Pens and filament will allow them to experience the entire process and enjoy the fruits of their labor, as well as show them that what they imagine can become reality!
