My kids are so excited to reach their reading goals this year and be eligible to earn these as rewards! Our school does not have a lot of extra money for incentives. This has made a huge impact to our classroom environment.\r\n\r\nIn my classroom, we have flexible seating including futons and high top tables. The room is more like a Starbucks lounge, and the kids are able to read wherever they would like. Independent Reading time has increased dramatically since the flexible seating and additional books were added to the classroom. Now, with the addition of fun incentives, my kids NEVER put down a book! The room is more like a lounge and the kids are able to read wherever they would like.
