Many students wonder every school day "when am I ever going to use this information in my life?", but they never have to ask themselves that in business technology courses! Though my students are surrounded by technology (cell phones, tablets and game stations) and could setup my new DVD player in a snap, they don't have the technology skills needed for higher education and future careers. Business Technology classes address that problem and prepare our children for higher education and careers. My school is located on a US Air Force Base and most of our students are from military families, many of whom have parents deployed overseas. In addition to dealing with parental deployment, military children endure the strain of restarting relationships with friends and teachers and keeping up with work in each new school. Tinker teachers are proud to serve the children of those who serve our country.
