My Project

Through another DonorsChoose Project, I have been lucky enough to purchase a 3D printer for my students. Now it is time to get the materials needed to use all the features of this printer.

The ability to move concept from the computer design phase to the physical prototype phase is an important part of the engineering design process.

To do this, we need not only the 3D printer, but also the filament to use it.

PVA is a special filament that dissolves when it comes in contact with water. This filament allows students to print objects with complex shapes or internal moving parts.
