Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each year for my birthday, I put together a list of books for our school library to be donated instead of asking for other gifts for myself. I love to see these books arrive and get put on the shelf for my students to enjoy each year. This year I am asking for 31 books in total to celebrate my 31st birthday. Each book will get a special bookplate with a list of the donors of this project.
The books chosen for this particular list are books that I enjoyed that I think my students will also enjoy as well as some things they have asked for this school year to round out collections of books or series.
All books that are part of this project will be part of the school library so that they can be enjoyed for choice reading, for school projects, and for fun.
