Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love to learn about different cultures and traditions. Recognizing and celebrating students’ racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds can be effective in building acceptance and understanding. It also promotes an environment where everyone feels welcomed and appreciated.

We hope to learn how they celebrate and why these traditions developed.

By adding TPT resources and books, we hope to learn about the culture and traditions in a way that students will understand. The hands-on activities will also bring the culture alive. The goal is to expand the focus beyond North American traditions and holidays.
