Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is simply to equip students with what they need to be successful in their science endeavors. Many of the families that we serve live at or below the poverty level. My students are special because they want to learn all they can about scientific concepts, conduct experiments and research, and truly achieve academically. This project will allow me to prepare students for the 2024-2025 school year. Each student will receive a folder for their science classwork. Pencils will be made available to students who don't have one or can't afford them. Markers will be used to draw scientific diagrams and the clear plastic folders will be used for vocabulary work. Students will annotate text with the highlighters.
