My Students

Hello and thank you for reading my proposal. I currently teach seventy-two English language learners whose enthusiasm and boundless energy keep me on my toes. They are ALL bright, energetic, and eager to learn

As their dedicated teacher, I continually support my students' curiosity by creating exciting lessons, but I sometimes lack hands-on materials that can be used in centers, for class experiments, and independent research.

So, I turn to donors like yourself for support.

My Project

Your generous contribution will help my students in many ways. First of all, I will have materials that support my instruction and liven up my lessons. My students will be captivated when I demonstrate how to light a bulb with a battery and wire. Secondly, my students will be able to work in pairs and conduct scientific investigations that lead to a deeper understanding of the differences between a series and parallel circuit. Lastly, my students will read and learn about electricity by using age appropriate material.

In the end, I hope that your donation will help my students realize that science is fun, exciting, and important in understanding the world in which we live in.
