My Students

Help my students have quality examples of folk tales and legends.

We are a public, title-one school.

This means that a majority of my students live below the poverty line. We do the best we can with an ever decreasing state budget, and limited family support. Many of my students are learning English. As with all California schools we often don't have enough for the basics, which is why my students need your support.

My Project

Our basal offers very bad examples of legends, folk tales, and fairy tales. I need good quality picture books to help them understand the concepts they are tested on. With these books, my wonderful students will have good examples of these kinds of stories.

Without you my students will not have their own copy of the stories they are trying to understand.

Our adopted curriculum does not always offer great examples, and I need new books to help them comprehend themes and genres. Please help me help them by providing great stories they will remember for a lifetime.
