My Students

When learning to solve new and challenging problems, visual learners succeed when they are able to visualize and interact with the steps of the process. With 28 first graders, and rising, it is important to engage them all in learning.

There are seven first grade classes at my school.

We all have 27 to 30 students. Many of our students learn best when they are shown instructions in math, reading, science, social studies, or anything else they may be working on. They are more engaged when they can see what is being taught and are able to retain more of the information.

My Project

An LCD projector will illuminate images, graphic organizers, stories, and other information onto a screen for the entire class to see in large vivid color. The project will hook up to any computer/laptop and will help aid instruction. It allows us to show any pertinent information to the whole class.

By getting an LCD projector in my classroom I will be able to have a technology rich classroom and engage all students in reading, writing, math, and all other aspects of the curriculum.

It will also benefit all seven classrooms by rotations in our schedule. Every dollar is appreciated.
