My Students

I am so excited to be working in a new school! Unfortunately, my classroom is lacking a rainbow table so I can effectively work with small groups of students. As a teacher it is so important to have a workable space to work with small groups of students that is student friendly.

My new school is a great school in a low income part of the city.

Over 80% of my students come from low socioeconomic homes and they are very culturally diverse, speaking many different languages. They are motivated to learn and want to be successful in school. Sometimes a little extra help is needed. Having a student-friendly learning space will be a great asset in the classroom.

My Project

The rainbow table and chairs that I am requesting will last through my teaching career and impact many students for years to come. It will also allow me to get rid of the big nonstudent-friendly desk that is living in my classroom at the present time. The table and chairs are durable, student-friendly and will allow for more room and space for students to use in the classroom environment. My students will have many opportunities to receive small group instruction or one-on-one instructional time with me. As all students learn in different ways, I need to have the opportunity to help all students succeed. Having this table and chairs will allow me to better serve the individual needs of my students.

Having this table and chairs in my classroom will impact not only my students this year, but for years to come.

This table and chairs will also better allow me to individualize the learning experience for each student and help them succeed. Additionally, it will allow me to create a learning environment that is more student centered and designed for student success!
