My Students

Help my students become technologically literate so that they can compete in today's technologically advanced world. They need access to technology to succeed!

I teach English at a fine arts high school.

My students are extremely creative and thrive on instruction that touches them artistically. Most of them are visual learners and enjoy hands-on, interactive activities that help them bring the language arts to life. With our recent financial crisis, our budget has been cut again and again. We are unable to provide our excellent students with the materials and resources they need to continue to succeed.

My Project

My students need an LCD multimedia projector and cart. With access to an LCD Projector, my students will be able to learn how to take class notes and outline essays. They will be able to learn how to create PowerPoint Presentations to share their learning with their peers and help them hone necessary speaking skills. They will be able to teach each other how to fix grammar mistakes and how to edit a paper. This is a great tool to engage students in their own learning process, and allow them to be active participants in their own learning. It will also prepare them for college, giving them experience with the latest technology that is necessary for success.

Please give my students the materials they need to succeed.

They will be able to do so much with the LCD projector like analyzing visual images, annotating text, editing essays, taking notes, and presenting their own ideas to the class. Please empower my students in their own learning and bring them into the new millennium. Give them access to technology so they can succeed!
