Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

How do you feel when you type something on a computer and you print it out an it looks awesome? Now picture yourself waiting for a computer to be available. All I have for my students is one desktop and a donorschoose laptop. One more notebook computer would make a huge difference.

We come from a very low economic community.

I service learning disabled children who range in grade 1-6. They are the most energetic and wonderful children you would want to meet. My kids have no technology privileges at home and depend on me to take them to the world of technology. They rush into my room looking to see what lesson I will be teaching and how the computers will be incorporated into that lesson.

My Project

Having this extra computer for their use will bring their writing pieces alive. The amount of projects they will be able to bring to life will be wonderful. Not having to wait for an available computer will be incredible. Having this extra computer will mean the difference to my students, not waiting an extra day to produce their work will mean the world to them.

Please help my children make technology part of their life, help them learn that computers can open a whole new world to them.

Your donation to this project will bring smiles and make my student have a sense of pride of the work they can produce. Knowing that someone out there can make this happen and has Made it happen in my class before is to enlightening to me. Students 10 years from now will appreciate this gift from you.
