I teach 6th grade English and Reading. I have a great group of kids that really want to learn. Since the economy has crippled nationally, it has been difficult for our school to replace high need items because of budget cuts.

Our class really needs 30 copies of the novel The Watsons Go to Birmingham-1963. We have copies that are six years old and many of them are missing complete chapters because the pages have fallen out. My kids are loving the novel but it is difficult to do class assignments because many of the books are missing important pages. We also need a teacher guide to help with supplemental activities. Please help our class! We DESPERATELY need new books!

We need 30 hard back novels of The Watsons Go To Birmingham-1963 and a teachers guide to the novel. This will allow every student to have access to all the pages in the novel for a complete experience.

Please help our class get the books that we need. It is difficult to get children involved in a novel and even harder when there is a novel they truly enjoy but become frustrated because many of the pages are missing. Please help this novel be a complete and enjoyable experience by giving our class a set of new books.
