Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

"I can't see Ms. B !!!," "I don't have a textbook"" I don't have a copy" are frequent statements in my class. With such a large and needy population in my classroom it is hard to have enough supplies. I teach a 4th grade Inclusion classroom with a high ELL population. This means half of my class has a learning disability and a large majority are learning English.

Budget cuts have highly effected our school, with fewer supplies and no textbooks it is hard to teach and for my students to learn.

An ELMO projector would make it possible for ALL my students to have access to a text by projecting it onto a screen. Students can read along with me as I share an exciting book or informational text. An ELMO projector would make it so that no transparencies would need to be made. Furthermore, we can “go green” with less photocopies.

This projector would help support 24 of my students in my classroom and the many other students in neighboring classrooms as this valuable tool would be shared. Please help support my students by bringing an ELMO projector in my classroom!
