Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a third grade teacher to 20 wonderful students. 90% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. Our community is a hard working, low income area in Connecticut. My class consists of regular, special needs, and English language learners.

My class has been so fortunate to receive wonderful books through Donorschoose.org, but now they need a comfortable place to enjoy these great books.

Don't we all love to nestle on the couch and get taken away with a book? Having these six bean bag chairs will make my students feel as if they were in the comfort of their homes.
