Hockey is a terrific sport. At least if you live where it snows in the winter. As a PE instructor in a Southern State, we don't see a lot of snow. I really want to bring hockey to our school. What a great way to share an entire culture with our students. As you can see, I teach in a high poverty school. A lot of what I try to do is work on teamwork, sportsmanship, and fitness. Hockey will do all of this and more. Please help me help them. This will definitely go a long way toward the fitness and enjoyment of all our students, especially those who study diversity under the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. What a great way to learn about the history and future of North Carolina, by learning about a new sport making its way into our state! Thank you!
