Students have been thrilled to explore these hands-on materials! Students eagerly examined the rocks and minerals, using the tools to test hardness, streak, and other properties. One memorable moment was when a student correctly identified a mineral by its streak color and proudly explained their reasoning to the class—seeing their confidence grow was incredible.\r\n\r\nWe are using the kits to classify rocks and minerals based on their characteristics, connecting what we learn to real, tangible specimens. Your generosity has turned abstract science concepts into interactive, engaging experiences that foster curiosity and critical thinking.\r\n\r\nNext, we will apply these skills to our ongoing learning on Earth's processes, investigating how rocks are formed, weathered, and transformed over time. We\r\nI can't thank you enough.\r\n\r\nMy students have enjoyed the exposure to the therapy sand. The texture feels nice and it looks clean. The blue and red sand and water tables are cute and sturdy. They are the right size for our sensory area. They allow space for another small sensory table to hold other sensory items in the area. These tables are the correct height for my students to work in. The easy on and off tops help to keep the sand clean and inside the container.\r\n\r\nMy students all request to use the sand and water table on a daily basis. This piece of equipment has been a blessing in my class.
