Are you looking for a chance to change the world? I have the best job in the world. I am a guidance counselor at a wonderful school in South Carolina with students that have great hearts but few resources.

My job allows me to work with all students from K4-5th grade and I am challenged daily to find new and different ways to empower them to change the world and rise above their circumstances. Many of my students do not have access to computers at home. I am trying to give them opportunities to discover new and exciting careers by researching and exploring new careers and colleges.

I need 2 laptops with DVD burners so we can explore, discover and research the endless possibilities in their future. I plan to work with small groups of 3-4 students and complete career interest inventories, discuss career clusters and find their passion and come up with an action plan of how to get them there. We will look at colleges in and out of our state that might offer a major that would lead to the career of their choice.

Your support will ensure that South Carolina students in my school can begin early to find a passion or interest and plan for a future that brings excitement and hope to their lives. I truly appreciate your consideration of this project.
