A smart 5th grade accelerated literacy classroom needs help at the "flip" of a single button.

My students take an in-depth look at cyclic patterns of change in the literature they read. After months of reading, analyzing, evaluating, and responding to the novels and poetry we read, students evaluate how they have changed as individuals. I would like to wrap up the unit by having a "Cyclic Celebration" so students can share a writing piece along with a symbol they bring in to represent how they have changed since studying cycles. As their teacher, I would like to have a handy way to record this celebration to post on my website for parents and others to see all we have learned and how it applies to our lives.

That's where the Flip video recorder comes into play. The Flip is an easy way to capture these moments during our celebration at the press of a button. Students can even handle the device with ease. With a quick download others can be inspired by our efforts on the web.
