I am a brand new teacher, who is teaching third grade. The school I teach at is brand new and is missing so many essential supplies to help engage and teach my learners. These supplies will really help!

No supplies or materials? Students super interested in learning more about the world and universe they live in. Students want to explore the layers of the earth and the universe around. This unit will look into the stars, constellations, how stars live, and how the planets revolve around the sun.

The resources that I need are books and teaching materials to teach about the universe and world we live in. This will benefit my students with more hands on learning and more realistic pictures of what is outside of this world. The materials will help us study a unit on constellations, earth's layers, planet orientation, and star life around the universe.

You will make it possible for my students to do their very best learning and to be able to look further into the earth's and universe's composition than a textbook would provide. The first unit these resources will provide will be a constellation unit of the stars. Then we will further engage in learning about how stars and planets coexist and where they form. Finally we will be able to look at all the planets and see how far away they are and how they are composed.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
