"I teach Earth Science to excited freshmen at an at-risk high school. Earth science is a class they must pass in order to graduate so I try to make it as exciting as possible. I want my students to enjoy the class to help prepare for their college careers. My students are in a high needs community but are competing for the same spots in college as students from every other high school.

Budgets are very limited and must stretch to include all departments. Often teachers are not able to get what they want for their classes. Priorities must exist. Paper is always in short supply. I do not believe in wasting. I make class sets of many items so the paper will be stretched further. I also recycle paper by using the back of an old sheet so none goes to waste. I am excited that I can get items for my classroom using another method-Donors Choose.

I need paper to keep my class active, hands-on and challenging. Labs require paper in a variety of ways. I have students draw to help understand the topic. Drawing the carbon cycle and nitrogen cycle helps the students remember it and understand it better. When learning new vocabulary, drawing the definition helps the student retain the word. I give challenging worksheets to complete after tests and quizzes to keep their minds working on science. Paper is needed to ensure a good science education. My students are working hard to become tomorrow's professionals.

Please help my students keep challenge in their curriculum. I hope you will be part of my classroom's success. HIDE

My students need 4 colors of copy paper. The cost of this proposal is $186, which includes shipping for any materials requested and fulfillment ?."
