I teach Earth Science to enthusiastic freshmen at a very at-risk high school. My students must pass Earth Science in order to graduate so I want to include fun and exciting activities and labs for them to experience. My students may attend an at-risk high school, but they will be competing for the same positions at college with every other high school student. I believe that a good foundation in science must begin with their very first year in high school.
